Our Columbus management team is made up of experienced leaders.

    Kyle Rooney, Senior Vice President & Regional General Manager
    Kyle guides the growth of our business operations throughout the Ohio and Northern Kentucky region, where we currently manage more than $1.0 billion in construction projects, annually. Kyle began his career with Turner in 1982 as an assistant engineer. Prior to his regional role, Kyle served as general manager for the Columbus office. He is also a community leader - dedicating time and talent as a board member to support the Associated General Contractors of Ohio and the Champions of the Community. Kyle has a B.S. Construction Technology from Bowling Green State University.

    Brian Mooney, Vice President & General Manager
    Brian is responsible for client satisfaction, operations, sales, risk management, marketing and strategic planning for the Columbus region. Brian joined Turner in 1997 after graduating from the University of Dayton with a degree in Civil Engineering. Instilled with a steadfast work ethic and creative business acumen, Brian quickly moved from an expert in the field to his current leadership role. When Brian is not wearing his hard hat and boots, he is actively involved in the community as a member of the Columbus 2020 Leadership Circle and serving on the board of the American Red Cross. Brian graduated from the University of Dayton with a B.S. in Civil and Environmental Engineering. 

    Charlie Egbert, Vice President & Operations Manager
    Charlie is responsible for construction operations, monitoring and coordinating the activities of staff, safety, EEO and labor relations. Charlie has been in the construction industry for more than 20 years. Prior to becoming the operations manager for the Columbus office, his most recent leadership roles have included project executive and construction executive - managing more than $1 billion of healthcare construction. Charlie is also a community leader - devoting time and talent to support the Easter Seals of Central and Southeast Ohio. Charlie has a Bachelor of Science degree in Building Sciences from Auburn University. 

    Matt Kunz
    Manager, Special Projects Division and Business Development
    Matt began his career with Turner in 2006 and has since held roles as project engineer, project manager, superintendent, and purchasing agent. Matt communicates the value of our services to local and regional clients to enhance opportunities for growth in various markets. Matt has multiple passions where he is actively involved with the Urban Land Institute (ULI)  and serves on the Board of Trustees for the Capital Area Humane Society.

    Mark Ogden, LEED AP, Preconstruction Manager
    Mark provides our clients with extensive knowledge of preconstruction services through the design process and into construction. He joined Turner in 2000 and has held positions in preconstruction, as well as construction as a project manager, project engineer, and superintendent. Mark obtained his B.S. in Civil Engineering from University of Dayton, is a LEED accredited professional, and is a member of the AIA Columbus chapter.

    Dave Brown, Project Executive
    Dave is an experienced construction management professional who started his career with Turner in 1986 as a co-op as an engineering assistant. Over the years, he has managed cost engineer teams, trained and mentored project engineers, and helped lead the implementation of several internal standard processes and migrations to modern project controls systems. Dave's tactical knowledge of the business and construction process offers clients assurance that their projects will be delivered smoothly and successfully. Dave has a B.S. in Civil Engineering from the University of Cincinnati.


    Jason Rhodebeck, Project Executive
    Jason has been in the construction industry and building for Turner since 1999. Early in his career, Jason demonstrated leadership and management values that reflect Turner’s core values of teamwork, integrity, and commitment. His experience is highlighted with projects ranging from commercial, hospitality, healthcare, and the public-sector markets. Working with Jason is to appreciate his dedication to quality, efficiency, and a true sense of partnership.


    Brad Richey, Project Executive
    Prior to joining Turner in 2004, Brad served in the United States Air Force. Brad began his Turner career as field engineer and has since moved through the ranks as superintendent, project manager and manager of Turner SPD to project executive. He is one of our ‘go-to’ experts for lean construction, having amassed knowledge and proven results throughout a 21+ year construction career. Brad’s lean expertise delivers productivity and cost value on the projects he manages and for his clients. Brad is a proud alumni of the University of Kentucky with a B.S. in Civil Engineering.


    Craig Zander, Construction Executive
    Craig has been with Turner since 1981 and has worked on projects totaling more than $1.9 billion of construction. His experience portfolio represents projects in a variety of market sectors - each with unique and challenging execution, schedule demands, and tight budget expectations. It is through Craig's experience and knowledge that project goals are achieved through efficient and quality performance.
