Turner completed its first building in Portland 34 years ago and since then have continued to grow as a Portland firm, building, renovating and expanding some of Oregon’s premier projects; the University of Portland Shiley Hall (one of 25 buildings on college campuses in the country to achieve a LEED Platinum certification), the Sacred Heart Medical Center RiverBend Campus (located in Springfield, OR, Sacred Heart is the largest hospital between Portland and San Francisco), and the Jeld-Wen Field renovation (home to the Portland Timbers). Assistant Project Safety Manager
The Assistant Project Safety Manager shall report to the Project Safety Manger. This person will assist the Project Safety Manager, BUSD, PX, PM, and Superintendents in adhering to company safety and loss control policies. Oversee and work on construction projects to identify, eliminate, and control hazardous conditions that may lead to injury and or property damage using job specific safety standards, best management practices, and Injury Free Environment Techniques. He/she provides support to the Project Safety Manager, Business Unit Safety Director, General Manager, Operations Manager and the business unit staff in an effort to enforce corporate safety and health policies and procedures. In addition to their project responsibilities, they shall participate in and complete all tasks designated to them by the Business Unit Safety Director.

The Project Safety and Loss Control Coordinator shall report to the Business Unit Safety and Loss Control Manager.
