Turner Houston: More than Bricks and Mortar
Involvement in our community is an integral part of the Turner culture in Houston. Turner is proud to be partnered with groups inlcuding the VitaLiving, Rebuilding Together Houston, Ronald McDonald House, Habitat for Humanity, the ACE Mentoring Program, Texas A&M University’s Capstone Program, Houston Community College Advisory Board, University of Houston Construction Advisory Board, the Houston Food Bank, Houston Minority Supplier Development Council and the National Association of Minority Contractors.

Turner is dedicated to bettering its communities, including focusing on providing opportunities for small and minority companies so that they can grow and develop from small- to medium-sized and large-sized companies. Initiatives include the Turner School for Construction Management, a 10-week program that teaches the fundamentals of construction management; Minority Enterprise Development Week, which celebrates achievements of and advocates for minority-owned businesses; the ACE Mentor Program, which allows for industry professionals to mentor Houston-area high school students; and the Summer Internship Program, in which hands-on employment opportunities are provided to college students in certain field.
