Turner Selected to Construct $140 Million Biometric Technology Center, Office and Central Utilities Plant Expansion for the Federal Bureau of Investigation in Clarksburg W.V.

Complex to Achieve LEED Certification from USGBC

Turner Construction Company, the nation’s leading general builder, has been selected by the Federal Bureau of Investigation to construct the Phase 2, $140 million expansion of the Biometric Technology Center (BTC), Office Building and Central Utilities Plant (CUP) Clarksburg W.V.

The scope of work includes the construction of a 400,000 sq. ft. office building and a 20,000 sq. ft. Central Utility Plant. The project is being designed and constructed to achieve a LEED certification from the United States Green Building Council.

Skidmore Owings & Merrill LLC, with whom Turner has a long-partnership of successfully completing many major projects, is serving as the designer for the project.
