The one million square feet of improvements to Arrowhead Stadium consisted of renovations to all levels of the stadium. At the field level, there were renovations to team facilities, locker rooms and support areas. In the concourse areas, there are increased fan amenities: 80 percent more restrooms and 50 percent more retail and concessions. The concourse areas more than doubled in width and feature open party decks on the upper level.

Renovations at the club level included expanded suites, climate controlled concourse and additional fan amenities. Exterior renovations included gates and entry areas, ticket offices, team store, museum, restaurant and administrative offices. The new horizon level included renovated press and coaches’ booths and an all-inclusive suite level for fans.

Other components included an expanded training facility, south sideline structure for the press, suites along the north sideline, upgraded video boards and sound systems, additional elevators, and new electrical, communications, lighting and fire protection systems.
