The Connections Housing Downtown project included adaptive reuse of a structure built in 1926 as a homeless service center. Connections Housing Downtown is an integrated service and residential community, the primary goal of which is to get homeless people off the street and into permanent housing. The facility includes 75 residential units, 150 units for 180-day interim housing, health clinic, meeting rooms, offices, full service commercial kitchen with dining room, and a social providers mall.
