The Takoma Elementary School Campus Reconstruction was a design-build effort to repair a District of Columbia Public School severely damaged in a fire. The project team retained the largely undamaged brick exterior and restored the interiors in time to open for the spring of the 2011 school year.  The 82,000 square foot school, which serves 450 students from preschool through eighth grade, achieved LEED Gold certification.
