Lathrop's contract with the Toledo Public School District includes 45 construction projects, including new construction, renovation and rejuvenation work at elementary, middle and high schools in the District. The program mandates that all new construction seek LEED Silver certification.

Some projects completed in the District in 2011:

Longfellow Elementary is a 69,000 square-foot school that serves 600 kindergarten through fifth grade students.

Marshall Elementary is a 43,000 square-foot school that serves 500 kindergarten through fifth grade students.

McKinley Elementary is a 43,000 square foot school that serves 360 kindergarten through fifth grade students.

Old Orchard Elementary is a 46,000 square foot school that serves 375 kindergarten through fifth grade students.

Beverly Elementary is a 90,000 square foot school that serves 700 kindergarten through eighth grade students.
