project at a glance

This project consisted of building a replacement passenger terminal and installing airside paving at Wilkes-Barre/Scranton International Airport.  The terminal is a 127,000 square foot steel framed structure on concrete spread footings, with an exterior skin composed of curtain wall, metal panels, skylights, and masonry.  The building includes eight gates: six from the concourse level and two apron-level gates.  Featured interior finishes include glue-laminated wood trusses and natural stone.  Baggage handling systems and four passenger boarding bridges are also included in the project.
