The 45,000 square foot Border Patrol Station serves the United States Customs and Border Protection Department responsible for protecting 70 miles of United States/Canada border along the Detroit River and Lake St. Clair.
The Governors Island project includes facilities management services for the operations, maintenance, capital projects and public access improvements for Governors Island Preservation & Education Corporation.
Manage, evaluate and assess information related to MEP systems necessary to construct the project on time, within budget and to the quality specified by the contract documents. Has supervisory responsibility for Assistant Engineers, Engineering Assistants, and Interns. The MEP Engineer is the individual on the project responsible for building the MEP systems “on paper.”
Reports to MEP Manager, Project Engineer, Project Manager, Project Executive.

Leads, directs and coordinates the work of subcontractors and/or Turner trade labor with regard to the Mechanical and Electrical systems included in the project. Responsible for ensuring safety, schedule delivery, quality of work performed and adherence to budget of the project. The Superintendent Mechanical-Electrical has supervisory responsibility for Assistant Superintendents, Field Engineers, Interns and trade labor in his/her area of responsibility.

Position Description: Responsible for administration of HR functions. This position is based in our New York City office working as a part of Turner's Headquarters Group. The position will split time working for Headquarters and the Market Segment Groups.
