The Jackson Health DTC Vertical Expansion project consists of adding 3 new levels totaling 80,600 sq. ft. to the existing 3-story DTC facility that includes 27 ICU rooms, pharmacy, and conference rooms each on 2 floors with one floor of shelled space. Also included was retrofitting 2 and adding 3 elevators, central energy plant and utility infrastructure improvements, minor renovations to existing basement and first level, and above ceiling work at third level.
This expansion was built above 19 active Operating Rooms, Pre-Op, and Post-Op spaces at the hospital’s main campus which required a unique level of coordination.
