Chris Beck
Senior Vice President

Chris Beck is senior vice president of Turner’s offices in Pennsylvania and New Jersey, responsible for executive oversight of preconstruction and construction management services for the region. 

Chris joined Turner in 1996 as a field engineer in the New Jersey office. He progressed through various assignments in the office and the field before being promoted to business manager for the New Jersey office in 2002. Chris moved to Houston in 2003 to serve as manager of their newly-created Special Projects Division. He became the business manager for Risk Management in 2005. Chris became a vice president in 2006 and was promoted to general manager of Risk Management in 2008 before transitioning to his current role. 

Chris is a Bucks County native and graduate of Lafayette College with a degree in civil engineering. He is a member of the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia Corporate Council, Drexel University’s Construction Management Advisory Council, the General Building Contractors Association Board, the Lafayette College Civil Engineering Advisory Board, the Lafayette Industrial Advisory Committee, the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE), and the board of the ACE Mentor Program in Philadelphia.


Kevin Cooke
Vice President and General Manager

Kevin Cooke serves as vice president and general manager of Turner’s Philadelphia office. Kevin provides executive-level leadership and management, establishing communication protocols, overseeing staff development, and supervising risk evaluation, contract negotiations, and pricing decisions.

Kevin joined the Philadelphia office in 1995, serving as a field engineer and assistant superintendent. He transferred to the Special Projects Division in 1999. He served as both a superintendent and an engineer before being promoted, in 2004, to operations manager of the Special Projects Division. Two years later, he moved back to the office’s main division, serving as a project manager. In 2010, he returned to serve as operations manager of the Special Projects Division until his promotion, in 2012, to manager of the Special Projects Division. Kevin was named a vice president in 2015.

Kevin received his bachelor’s degree in construction management from Spring Garden College in Pennsylvania.


Dave Kaminski
General Manager

Dave serves as general manager of Turner’s Philadelphia office and works in partnership with Vice President and General Manager Kevin Cooke to ensure we leverage our strengths, capture work, and strategically grow our market footprint.

Dave joined Turner in 2008 as a field engineer and spent three years on various project assignments before moving into the cost department.   In April 2013, Dave transferred back to the field on the Lincoln Financial Field project, first in preconstruction and then in the role of mechanical/electrical engineer.  Dave later moved to the FMC Tower at Cira Centre South project as the MEP manager before moving to Business Development.  He most recently held the position of Business Development Manager.

Dave received his bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Delaware.


Greg Ryan
Vice President and Operations Manager

Greg Ryan serves as vice president and operations manager for Turner’s Philadelphia office. In this capacity, he leads, manages, and coordinates all phases of multiple projects from preconstruction through closeout. 

Greg joined Turner in 1979 as an engineer in the Philadelphia office. He worked in estimating and business development before becoming a senior project executive in 2005 and a construction executive in 2012. Greg was named vice president and construction executive in January 2014. In addition to his project responsibilities, Greg has taken on the leadership role for the overall coordination of project operations in Philadelphia.

Greg received his bachelor’s degree in architectural engineering from Pennsylvania State University.


Greg Smith
Vice President, Preconstruction Services

Greg Smith joined Turner’s Philadelphia office as a field engineer in 1986. He advanced in his career through various assignments in the field and in the office, including assistant superintendent, project engineer, SPD project manager, estimating engineer, chief estimator, and manager of Turner’s Special Projects Division in Philadelphia. In 2007, Greg was promoted to regional preconstruction manager for Turner’s Philadelphia, Pittsburgh, and Maryland offices. 

Greg currently serves as vice president, preconstruction services for Turner’s Philadelphia office. In this capacity he has overall responsibility for the preconstruction process from project inception through start of construction. 

Greg is a graduate of Lawrence Technical University and holds a bachelor’s degree in construction engineering and a master’s degree in civil engineering from Drexel University. 


Pete Schramm
Vice President, Construction Executive
Pete Schramm is a construction executive in Turner’s Philadelphia office. He oversees a number of projects and is responsible for planning operational activities, maintaining relationships with the entire project team, and orchestrating all actions necessary to achieve the project’s safety, quality, scheduling, and budgetary goals from the design phase through the completion of construction execution.

Pete joined Turner’s Philadelphia office as an assistant superintendent in 1998. He also served as an assistant superintendent and a superintendent for the office’s Special Projects Division. In 2006 he was promoted to project manager, serving in both the Special Projects Division and Philadelphia’s main office. In 2014 he was promoted to project executive and in 2016 he was promoted to construction executive, his most recent role.

Pete holds a bachelor's degree in civil engineering from Spring Garden College in Pennsylvania.


Kristian Fields
Preconstruction Manager

Kristian Fields is preconstruction manager of Turner’s Philadelphia office. He holds overall responsibility for the preconstruction process from project inception through start of construction for all Philadelphia projects.

Kristian joined Turner's office in Phoenix in 2005, serving as an engineer and a project engineer, before transferring to the Philadelphia office two years later. There, he worked in the Special Projects Division serving in various positions including estimator, procurement agent, project engineer, and project superintendent.  In 2009, he assumed the role of Special Projects Division preconstruction manager – a role in which he served until 2012 when he was promoted to operations manager of the Division. Kristian served as procurement manager for Philadelphia from 2016 to 2017 before he was promoted to his most recent role as Manager of the Interiors and Special Projects Division.

Kristian received his bachelor's degree in civil engineering from Pennsylvania State University and is a professional engineer.


John Ricketts
Interiors and Special Projects Division Manager

John Ricketts is manager of Turner’s Interiors and Special Projects Division in Philadelphia. John provides executive-level leadership and management, establishing communication protocols, overseeing staff development, and supervising risk evaluation, contract negotiations and pricing decisions.

John joined Turner’s Philadelphia office in 2003 as a field engineer before becoming an estimating assistant in 2005.  Between 2007 and 2012, John held the roles of engineer or superintendent on several projects.  In 2013, he became preconstruction manager for the Interiors and Special Projects Division, then was promoted to Project Manager in 2014 for several large projects.  John was most recently promoted to Operations Manager for the Interiors and Special Projects Division in 2017 before becoming manager in 2019.

John received his bachelor’s degree in Engineering with a minor in Economics from Lafayette College.  In 2014, he received a master’s of business administration degree in business management from Villanova University.
