The builder of signature Philadelphia projects such as the National Constitution Center, Lincoln Financial Field, the Cira Centre, Mellon Bank Center, and Franklin Field, Turner’s Philadelphia office is composed of over 170 full-time construction professionals responsible for more than $250 million of construction on an annual basis.  Since opening our doors in Philadelphia in 1907, our geographic reach has grown to include Eastern Pennsylvania, Southern New Jersey, and Delaware, where we have a long tradition of working and continue to be a builder of choice.

Our management team is led by Chris Beck, Vice President and General Manager, who is responsible for the overall financial and operational success of the Philadelphia office.  He is supported by Vice President and Senior Operations Manager Jeff Klinger, who is responsible for overall leadership of our project teams and staffing.  Combined they represent 50 years of experience in building.

We have extensive experience with a variety of building types, including: Education, Healthcare, Commercial, Research and Development, Interiors, Sports, Historical Renovation, Manufacturing, Industrial, Justice, Public, Retail, Multi-unit Residential, Entertainment, Hotel, Restoration, and Aviation/Transportation.  Our office is currently managing a wide variety of projects, including the new Ambulatory Care Center and Garage for the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, the new URBN Center at Drexel University, a new renovation project at the Sysco Philadelphia food distribution facility in Philadelphia, healthcare renovations on Virtua’s south Jersey campuses, and the renovation/expansion of the Nationwide Harleysville offices.

  • Traveling Project Manager (Data Centers/Telecom Facilities)

    Reports to the Project Executive. Plan, coordinate, direct and supervise personnel, subcontractors, and vendors engaged on projects ensuring that they complete the work on time, within budget and to the quality specified. Handle multi projects while serving as the Turner Construction representative on the Owner-Architect-Turner team. Is responsible to protect and promote the interest of Turner in all matters.

  • Superintendent

    Leads, directs and coordinates the work of subcontractors and/or Turner trade labor.  The superintendent is responsible for ensuring safety, schedule delivery, quality of work performed and adherence to budget of the project.  The Superintendent has supervisory responsibility for Assistant Superintendents, Field Engineers, Interns and trade labor in his/her area of responsibility.
