Fostering Love in Pittsburgh

Fostering Love in Pittsburgh

Turner’s Pittsburgh office teamed up with Foster Love Project – a local nonprofit with a mission to show love and kindness in action to children impacted by foster and kinship care through the provision of goods, services, and support.

Let's build beautiful communities

To support its mission, 45 Turner employees came together to beautify their space with a full day of volunteering. The Turner team built picnic benches, sensory gardens, and accessible ramps, provided food pantry donations, and collected more than 100 stuffed animals. For lunch, the team hired Turner School of Construction Management graduate, Chef Claudine Pierre.

“Pittsburgh is a city that comes together when in need,” said Patrice Thompson, Community & Citizenship Manager. “We support and help each other not to just build in our communities, but to help communities and organizations when they need it the most.”
