Building a Diverse Pipeline by Empowering Future Leaders at “Day with the ‘Dogs” Recruiting Event

The event showcased activities tailored to enrich the students' professional journey, including resume reviews, mock interviews, professional headshots, and a panel presentation.

The event's cornerstone was a compelling panel presentation featuring a diverse Turner team of Fresno State alumni. The alums shared their stories in transitioning from student life in the Central Valley to a thriving career at Turner, including overcoming challenges as first-generation college students.

As reported by the College’s Division of Academic Affairs, Fresno State’s Hispanic population makes up more than 55% of the current student body. 

Turner has a long history of working to increase diversity and inclusion within the company and industry. In 2020, Turner established a 10-year vision: to reflect the communities in which we build and to achieve equitable representation at all levels of our company. As the focus on equity increases, Turner is reimagining the recruiting program and taking steps to help all employees achieve their ultimate career potential through thoughtful mentorship and strategic placement.
