The Health Science and Technology Building will be a six-story, 197,147 square foot building that represents an approach to research for Lehigh University's College of Health Sciences. The building is intended to foster interdisciplinary collaboration in science, engineering, and other disciplines, as well as provide a highly visible home for the College of Integrated Health.

The structure will be a steel frame with an exterior composed of curtainwall that incorporates an integral sunscreen and terrazzo. The building also requires 30' deep excavation for the basement level and foundations, and will also feature a post-tensioned pedestrian bridge over Asa Drive.

The 125,973 square foot fit out includes faculty offices, post-doc and graduate offices, research laboratories, core laboratory facilities, general purpose classrooms, and social spaces. Two of the five floors will remain shell space to give the University the flexibility to fit out the space as new faculty are recruited.
