The Ibn Battuta Mall combines retail, entertainment, restaurant and family activities within a uniquely-themed environment.

Designed around the concept of the various countries visited by the famous Arabian traveler, Ibn Battuta, the mall houses six themed shopping areas represented by a variety of architectural styles to imitate Battuta's travels through Andalusia, Tunisia, Egypt, Persia, India and China.

Ibn Battuta Mall opened in Spring 2005 and houses more than 300 stores, a food court, a movie complex with 21 screens and an IMAX theatre on a 1.6 kilometer site. The mall offers a blend of local and international shops and provides parking for 5,000 cars.
