Pfizer Technical Development Facility

project at a glance

Pfizer Technical Development Facility was built in multiple phases. The 435,000 square foot facility was designed to house 430 researchers engaged in product development. In addition, an underground tunnel was also built that passes below Huron Parkway and connects to other facilities on the former Pfizer campus.

The building’s design features two halves. One side is devoted to office and laboratory space, the other for development. The facility was originally intended to produce clinical supplies for the development and optimization of all production processes as well as bring technical development functions closer to other R & D related functions.
