Creating a Modern Medical Learning Environment

Providing a much-needed update to the University of Tennessee Health Science Center (UTHSC) Dunn Dental Building, this project is prominent for both Turner and the Memphis community. The project consists of a five-story addition and renovation to the building, providing simulation dental labs, classrooms, and seminar rooms for students. Previously, first- and second-year dental students were in a separate building which made it hard to learn from one another. The addition combines all students into one building, helping with contact learning.

The addition will also provide satellite dental clinics for the surrounding community, giving students the opportunity to practice while also providing important dental care for citizens. This is the first project with the University of Tennessee system for the Memphis Turner office.
