Skyline Elementary

Bringing the Community Together to Grow

This Design-Build Elementary School project entailed the construction of a new facility to replace the previous school. The new school houses 420 students, is approximately 55,000 sq. ft. and was constructed on an occupied site that remained fully operational during the entire construction process. There is also an existing, adjacent Professional Development Center that remained occupied and fully operational during construction. Due to a three-month delay in receiving the building permit, the team overcame this constraint through prefabrication, lean scheduling, and project-solving principles, and ultimately the execution of a very good build plan with all of the trades.
