Elegantly Modern: Transforming a Downtown Vancouver Law Firm Space

Miller Thomson LLP is a law firm fit-out spanning half of the 4th floor in the renovated Nordstrom building in downtown Vancouver. Turner completed preconstruction and value engineering prior to providing construction services for the 50,000 sq. ft. tenant improvement project. In the client space, the project included a reception area, a servery, a client washroom, and 9 meeting rooms. The large meeting room opens to the client reception space and also features curved glass and a skyfold wall system that can be lowered to sub-divide the room. The staff space features a library wall, a loft, a forum, flexible meeting spaces, an open-concept staff kitchen, private meeting rooms, offices and phone rooms, and workstations grouped into 7 “neighborhoods”. The space also has an end-of-trip facility including showers, washrooms, and lockers.
