Memorial Sloan Kettering Monmouth Facility

285,000 sq. ft. office building conversion into a regional cancer diagnostic and treatment center

This project consisted of the conversion of an office building into an outpatient medical facility. This 3-story, 285,000 sq. ft. outpatient facility includes ORs, IRs, imaging suites, a shell for two linear accelerators, oncology suites, 18 infusion rooms with direct views of nature, and a 4-story atrium lobby space that was cut into the existing structure and divides the building into two three-story wings. The South wing was renovated for a 120,000 sq. ft. ambulatory care center and 5,100 sq. ft. entry bridge. Patients requiring lab work will visit the central 13-chair Phlebotomy area, where blood will be drawn; vital signs, heights and weights will be taken and documented electronically. The laboratory is directly adjacent to Phlebotomy for rapid turnaround of blood tests. The 142,000 sq. ft. North wing includes a 22,500 sq. ft. data center with an adjacent 21,000 sq. ft. data center for office support.
