Leaders Promoted in Turner's Boston Office

Leaders Promoted in Turner's Boston Office

Turner Construction Company is pleased to announce that Kent Kunkel and Meaghan Hooper-Berdik have each been promoted to vice president and general manager of Boston, reporting to Peter Hamill, vice president and general manager of New England.

Kent joined the Boston office in 1993 as a field engineer, serving as an assistant superintendent before transferring to the cost department in 1996. He then completed assignments in the Special Projects Division as an engineer and assistant superintendent before earning a promotion to project manager in the Special Projects Division in 1999. He then accepted an assignment as a purchasing agent, a role he served in until 2001 when he was promoted to operations manager of the Special Projects Division. In 2002, he was named logistics liaison. Four years later, he was promoted to manager of business development and, in 2014, he was promoted to vice president of business development, his most recent role.

Meaghan joined the Boston office in 1997 as a field engineer, serving as an assistant superintendent before transferring to estimating in 2002. She earned a promotion to senior estimating engineer in 2005, before returning to the field as a senior project superintendent. In 2007, Meaghan took on the role of operations manager for the Boston office’s Special Projects Division. She then served as SPD Manager before being promoted in 2014 to vice president and general manager of Special Projects, her most recent role.
