Turner Presents $62,690 Check to Benefit Patients of National Jewish Health

February 10, 2015

Patients at National Jewish Health will be able to breathe easier thanks to the $62,690 Turner Construction raised at its 8th Annual Turner Open Golf Tournament held on August 27, 2014 at Hiwan Golf Club in Evergreen, Colorado. The check was officially presented to Dr. Michael Salem, president and CEO of National Jewish Health, at a ceremony on January 30, 2015.

National Jewish Health is a Denver-based, non-profit academic medical center known worldwide for its treatment and research of respiratory, cardiac, immune, and related disorders. “National Jewish Health would not be able to achieve its mission without the support of donors,” said Carolyn Meske, a member of the National Jewish Health Development Board. “Turner is an excellent example of our generous partners in the community.”

The 2014 Turner Open once again sold out with 144 golfers and 28 corporate sponsors. Turner credits much of the support for this tournament from its top sponsors: Platinum - Johnson Controls, Gold - Haldeman-Homme, and Silver - Drake Williams Steel, Schuff Steel, and The Pool Company
