Turner Breaks Ground on Husky Stadium Renovation Project for University of Washington

After providing a year of preconstruction services for the renovation of Husky Stadium, Turner’s Seattle office began construction on Monday, November 7, 2011. The project includes complete demolition and reconstruction of the lower bowl and south side stands, updated club and luxury suites, installation of permanent east end zone seating and construction of a 200-space parking garage. The project also includes an operations building with a 30,000 square foot sports medicine clinic. Turner’s Special Project Division in Seattle will relocate the 150,000 square foot track and field area.
The stadium will be operational for the start of the 2013 Husky football season.
