Engineering News-Record Ranks Turner #1 Green Contractor

Engineering News-Record has once again ranked Turner Construction Company as the top green contractor for the 14th year.

As part of their annual Top 100 Green Buildings Contractors Report, Turner received the number one ranking in Education and Health Care; second place ranking in Commercial Offices, and Sports, Entertainment and Civic; and third place ranking in Manufacturing and Industrial.

The report features Turner’s Southwest Library project, which will be Washington, D.C.’s first all-mass-timber building. The 25,000 square foot project, designed by Perkins+Will, uses dowel-laminated timber to achieve a world-first folded plate mass timber roof.

The company’s technical expertise is also recognized as the Report shares that Turner has more than 1,050 LEED Accredited Professionals—600 more than the next nearest contractor.
