Cayley Van Hemmen

Cayley Van Hemmen began her journey with Turner Construction's Vancouver unit as an intern in 2013, rising to Division Manager for Interiors and Special Projects. A collaborative force, she significantly reshaped the Special Projects Division, disentangling it from Core and Shell in Turner's Vancouver operations, resulting in a clearer operational distinction. Starting with a seven-person team, Cayley's leadership has propelled the office to over 145 employees in a decade. Armed with a civil engineering degree from UBC and an MBA from UBC Sauder, she's also a LEED AP in Building Design & Construction. Cayley is deeply engaged in industry associations, co-chairing the mentorship committee at the Urban Land Institute and actively participating in the Urban Development Institute. She's a member of Commercial Real Estate Women (CREW), highlighting her commitment to industry equity, and previously contributed to Canadian Construction Women's (CCW) communications committee. Her journey mirrors her dedication to personal and industry growth, positioning her as an exceptional leader.
