Kate is focused on establishing the long-term vision and culture of the business unit while also ensuring the successful delivery of projects. As a founding member of Turner’s Inclusion Action Committee, Kate is committed to building a diverse and inclusive pipeline of future leaders who represent the communities in which we live and build. Kate earned a Master of Architecture from Tulane University and is a licensed architect.
She joined Turner as a Project Manager in 2008, after practicing architecture in New Orleans, Ft. Lauderdale and Chicago. In 2016, she accepted an assignment as the Business Development Manager, focused the growth of the Chicago Business Unit and was then named Vice President, General Manager in late 2019.
Kate is engaged in various commercial real estate and industry organizations, and was named as one of Crain’s 2020 Notable Women in Construction and Design. As an active in her community, Kate serves on several boards including Professional Women in Construction and Ace Mentor. In her spare time, she loves cooking, traveling, and skiing with her husband Rich and two daughters; Ava and Olivia.
