The Ridge Road Recreation Center project for the Department of General Services included demolishing the original recreation center and play structures, renovating the pool house and constructing a 22,000 square foot, LEED Gold recreation center.
The center will include a gym, a fitness room, multi-purpose rooms, classrooms, a computer lab, lockers/showers for the pool, a commercial kitchen and a senior lounge. Outdoor facilities will include basketball courts, updated playground equipment, and landscaping. Renovations to the pool house include a pump house and trash enclosure. The project also includes a parking lot with accessible parking.
