The Benson Ford Research Center is a two-story facility features an expansive lobby, workrooms, reading room, environmentally controlled shelving areas and offices for curators, catalogers, and reference staff. The building connects via a second-floor pedestrian bridge to the existing museum and Lovett Hall allowing increased mobility for environmentally sensitive holdings. Work also included a 66,000 square foot facility that is positioned between the museum and Henry Ford Greenfield Village entrance.
