Building Information Models

Turner's utilizes Building Information Modeling (BIM) with the use of 3D models to improve communication and efficiency on building projects for our clients. We take a pragmatic approach to apply aspects of BIM that represent real value to a project. Turner believes in an open collaborative approach toward BIM that allows for all partners in the project to have input. This approach fosters a proactive, solution-oriented process that benefits all project participants. We recognize that the value added by the use of BIM makes it a crucial component to any project, regardless of its size.

Creation of BIM models alleviate costly clashes and conflicts before they are discovered on the jobsite. They also greatly reduce the cost of drawing new plans when changes are made. SmartBoard technology is put to use while conducting collaborative meetings with subcontractors and project planners to ensure everyone can to actively participate.
