Turner began working in the South Bay in the Mid 1970’s with projects at Stanford University and the NASA Ames Wind Tunnel. Recognizing that San Jose and Silicon Valley was becoming one of the leading worldwide economic forces, Turner opened an office in San Jose in 1986.
Since then, Turner has constructed some of the most technological and world-renowned projects in the world. Turner was the construction manager on the San Jose Tech Museum and the Contractor for the San Jose Civic Center.
Today, Turner is recognized as one of the top contractors and construction managers in the area. Turner is annually ranked among top 10 local contractors. Project types include healthcare, K-12, higher education, residential, semiconductor wafer fab facilities, tenant improvements, seismic upgrades, and of course, commercial office buildings.
