Turner's first job in New Jersey was a concrete floor for the Central Lard Company in Jersey City in 1902. Since then, Turner has completed more than 500 projects throughout the state that vary in size and complexity. Turner opened an office in Somerset in 1984 and today we have more than 180 dedicated team members.

Turner's New Jersey office works with a diverse mix of public and private sector clients and has built or managed the construction of many of the state’s leading commercial, residential, institutional, industrial, sports and healthcare facilities.

Notable projects include the New Jersey Performing Arts Center, Liberty View Towers, Frick Chemistry Laboratory, the University Medical Center of Princeton at Plainsboro (UMCPP), The Green at Florham Park, the restoration and renovation of the State House Annex and the Trenton War Memorial, Bridgewater Crossing, the AT&T Network Operations Center, as well as multiple projects at NJIT, UMDNJ and Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey. These are just some of the projects that have made Turner a leading builder in New Jersey.

  • Accounting Supervisor

    Reports to the Assistant Regional Controller. Ensure the projects and the Business Unit are receiving quality Financial Support. Quality financial support includes Contract review, Billings, Work-in-Place Reporting, Subcontractor and General Condition payments, and Cash Reporting. The Supervisor monitors the projects, both current and future, and assigns Accounting staff as required. Establish solid communications with the Project staffs and the Business Units. As part of this responsibility the Supervisor will routinely conduct Site visits and meet face-to-face with Site personnel. The position will assist in internal and external audits, always looking to protect the bottom line of the Company. The Supervisor position requires a high level of energy and a positive attitude when obstacles or challenges arise. The Supervisor trains and mentors the Project Accounting staff and enforces Turner Policy and Procedures.
