Kansas City

For the past 20 years, Turner's office in Kansas City has presented the Turner School of Construction Management to growing firms in the Kansas City Metro Area. We are proud of the 700 business owners who have successfully completed our local program, and can see first hand the difference graduates have made, and continue to make in the Kansas City market.

Initiated in 1969 in an effort to improve the economic viability of minority- and women-owned businesses, the Turner School of Construction Management is a free, multi-session construction management training course offered in cities across the country. The classes, which are taught by Turner employees, are designed to enhance both the technical and managerial skills of each participant, and each session focuses on an essential construction topic, such as risk management, safety, estimating, scheduling, Building Information Modeling, and more. Since it began, the Turner School of Construction Management has seen more than 37,000 graduates strengthen their businesses, build their networks, and win contracts with Turner and other industry leaders.
