Local community support is an integral part of the Turner culture and we embrace it at every level, both personally and professionally. Our staff is active in our community and contributes more than 1,000 hours annually to volunteer efforts. Some of the organizations and groups we're involved with include:
ACE Mentor Program
State Fair of Texas Livestock Auction Committee
Communities in Schools
Dallas Fort Worth Minority Business Council
Downtown Dallas, Inc.
American Red Cross
Habitat for Humanity
Hearts & Hammers
University of Texas Dallas Chess Team Tournament
Hispanic Contractors Association
Black Contractors Association
Turner is also the title sponsor for the Southern Methodist University Tate Lecture Series Student Forum, and our Dallas office annually hosts the Turner School of Construction Management Program, offered for minority and women-owned business enterprises. The free,10-week training program provides insightful tools to local, minority and women-owned businesses, while offering them an opportunity to develop strategic business skills and network with peers, instructors and other professionals in the construction industry.
