Turner Saves Time with Heli-Crane at Harrah's Cherokee Casino

Using a Sikorsky S64E crane helicopter to lift pieces of roof-mounted equipment weighing between 4,400 and 15,000 pounds, the Turner project team at Harrah’s Cherokee Casino saved two weeks. A month of logistics and planning involved the fire department, the building department the police department the FAA and Harrah’s Casino property management. All lifts were complete in approximately four hours.
