John DiCiurcio is Named Chief Operating Officer of Turner Construction Company

Turner Construction Company today announced that John DiCiurcio has been promoted to Chief Operating Officer of Turner Construction Company.

John adds this role to his current responsibilities which include oversight of operations in several regions in the United States and Canada, as well as serving as a member of Turner’s senior leadership team.

Commenting on John’s promotion, Peter Davoren, President and Chief Executive Officer of Turner said, “I am pleased to have John serving as Chief Operating Officer of Turner. In addition to sharing in the leadership of Turner’s core business in the United States, John’s leadership in selected targeted areas of growth will help us tap into their full potential.”

John joined Turner in 1979 as a field engineer in the Cleveland office and has held a number of positions in the office and on job sites during his career. John moved to Turner’s Chicago office and was promoted to Vice President and general manager of that office in 1996. John is a member of The Turner Corporation Board of Directors. In addition, John serves on the board for several civic organizations including City of Hope’s Chicago Construction and Real Estate Council, Chicago Architectural Foundation and the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. John has a B.S.C.E. in Civil Engineering from Rutgers University.
