Turner Cuts Ribbon on Atlanta Office Building

July 13, 2011

Turner was on hand for the opening of CDC Building 24 - a complex that houses offices for the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. The 311,000 square foot, 12-story office building provides space for 1,300 people. The building is on track to be awarded a LEED Gold certification by the U.S. Green Building Council. The sustainable design aspects of our work for CDC, such as the walkable campus, reduction of fossil fuel consumption, use of daylight in lieu of artificial light are integral to promoting CDC's goal of environmental health as part of public health.
