Lathrop Managing Construction of $53 Million Student Housing Complex at Bowling Green State University

Design-Build Project Will Provide Additional Student Beds

Lathrop, a subsidiary of Turner Construction Company, is managing a $53 million design-build contract by Capstone Development to construct a privatized student housing complex on the campus of Bowling Green State University in Bowling Green, Ohio. The project’s final beam was put in place on November 12th in a topping out ceremony and the student housing complex is scheduled for completion in August 2011.

The project includes the design and construction of two housing complexes that will provide the University with 1,300 additional student beds. The South-Central residence will total 143,400 square feet and the Northwest residence will total 193,000 square feet.
