In 1964, Turner Construction Company came to Southern California to build Union Bank, the first high-rise office building on Bunker Hill. The Los Angeles office was Turner's first office established on the West Coast. Since then, Turner has helped reshape the Southern California skyline by constructing some of the most well-known skyscrapers in the region, including the Library Tower, the tallest building in the Western United States.
Today, Turner applies its premier construction expertise serving a diverse client base to help them build their future. We are currently managing construction of area educational institutions that will last for generations. Turner is a leader in constructing and rehabilitating entertainment venues such as Long Beach Aquarium of the Pacific and Anaheim Stadium. Turner has restored some of Southern California’s most graceful landmark structures, including El Capitan Theater on Hollywood Boulevard and several other fanciful movie houses built in the early days of Hollywood.
The following pages provide further insight into Turner's local accomplishments, capabilities and commitment. Challenge Turner to build your future in Southern California.
