Turner provided construction management services for the 730 ft. high Grand 50 Tower in Taiwan's port city of Kaohsiung. Upon completion, this building was the tallest building in Taiwan.
Located in an area where typhoons and earthquakes are commonplace, this high rise represents a major achievement in the areas of design and construction.
Grand 50 offers approximately 90,000 sq. m. of gross area. The development, primarily intended for retail and office use, includes a fully automated 280-car parking facility and a 21- story open atrium which is clad with imported Spanish granite, and a helicopter pad. The top floors of the building accommodate the Grand 50 Club, a prestigious night spot managed and operated by the Hong Kong based Peninsula Group.
