Turner's Kaiman Named to IBJ's Forty Under 40 List
Indianapolis, Ind., February 6, 2009 - Mike Kaiman, Vice President and General Manager of Turner Construction Company of Indiana, LLC, was named to the Indianapolis Business Journals' list of Forty Under 40 for 2009. Each year the IBJ recognizes 40 local entrepreneurs, community leaders and business professionals under the age of 40 who have demonstrated leadership, initiative and dedication in pursuing their careers, and who are likely to continue to achieve success in the future.
Mike began his career with Turner in 1992 in the Co-Op program in the Cincinnati office. He steadily progressed through a number of assignments, from laborer to project superintendent, project manager, preconstruction manager and now vice president and general manager.
Mike has approached community and professional service with the same vigor that has made him a leader in business. Mike serves as the vice president for the Howard Regional Health System Foundation Board and serves on the Capital Projects Fund Committee for the United Way of Central Indiana. He is also actively involved with the Indiana Society for Healthcare Engineering, American Society for Healthcare Engineers, Indiana Construction Roundtable, Metro Indianapolis Coalition for Construction Safety and Canstruction.
Mike is a graduate of the University of Cincinnati with a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering. He resides in Carmel with his wife Michelle and their three children.
