Wilfrido Hernandez Receives the Turner Construction Company Scholarship at the 2007 ACE Scholarship Dinner

INDIANAPOLIS, INDIANA - May 10, 2007 - Turner is one of the founding members of the ACE Mentor program in Indiana. The ACE program is a unique partnership among industry professionals who work together to attract young people in their professions.

During the 2006-2007 school year, six Turner staff members became mentors to students at George Washington Community School. After an entire year of mentoring, a schoalrship dinner was held to honor all students and mentors in the program. At this dinner, Turner awarded a $4,000 scholarship to Wilfrido Hernandez, a senior from George Washington Community School.

Additionally, Turner is delighted to provide Ernest Bradley, a sophomore from George Washington Community School, with an internship to work on a $26 million renovation project right there at his high school. Ernest joins 2006 Turner ACE Scholarship recipient Justin Matteson on the project in this valuable learning experience.
