Lacey Ahlf Joins Turner As Pre-Construction Engineer
INDIANAPOLIS, INDIANA, July 28, 2003 - Turner Construction Co. of Indiana LLC, headquartered in Indianapolis, has hired Lacey L. M. Ahlf as pre-construction engineer. In this capacity, she is responsible for working with subcontractors to develop project budgets and complete the pre-qualifying process. Prior to joining Turner, Ahlf held two construction positions in her native Washington. She was a civil field engineer in Richland for Bechtel National, one of the world's largest engineering-construction firms. There, she worked on a waste treatment plant under the River Protection Project for the Department of Energy's cleanup of a site in Hanford. She also managed civil bulk materials for the project.
Ahlf also worked in Seattle for Fulks, Inc., as a field engineer. There, she was involved in various construction activities for multi-million dollar homes in the area.
She volunteers with the Make-A-Wish Foundation, working with children under 17 who have life-threatening diseases.
Ahlf graduated from the Univ. of Washington at Seattle with a B.S. degree in civil engineering. She presently is pursuing an M.B.A. degree from Indiana University (IUPUI) at Indianapolis.
She and her husband, Jason, reside on the north side of Indianapolis.
