Construction of Stanford University's Livermore Server Room involved transformation of a storage room and shipping garage into a data facility. Work included raising ceiling heights, pouring slab in the shipping garage for all electrical support equipment, installation of an FM200 system, security surveillance system, and upgrades to the fire alarm system. Additional work included structural steel upgrades to walls and the roof and removing and replacing the building Transformer
Exterior work included placing a diesel generator onto a concrete pad with CMU walls to support the server room, addition of HVAC equipment on the roof of the facility and landscaping repairs and upgrades.
