Iconic toy retailer FAO Schwarz tasked Turner with the relocation and fit-out of its flagship at 30 Rockefeller Center. The 20,000 square foot multi-floor boutique features custom millwork including, a “starry night” ceiling and an ornamental glass staircase that was installed around and through a 26’ tall Clock Tower.

Located in one of New York's busiest areas, the team coordinated its activities with specialty vendors and the building to meet the compressed four-month schedule.

To safeguard the installation of iconic features, including the 20' long "Big" piano the team performed extensive site surveys to compensate for incongruous field conditions, such as varying ceiling heights. In addition, the fabrication of custom long lead items such as architectural glass and steel was closely monitored to ensure their precise fit and finish.
