World Trade Center, Echelon Square

project at a glance

The World Trade Center, Echelon Square includes twin, 39-story office towers--the shape of which calls to mind the Bank of Ceylon--built on a common base. The total square footage is 1.3 million square feet and when completed in 1998, Echelon Square was the tallest and most prominent structure in Sri Lanka. The development includes retail shops, a gym center and 66 office floors, each with 700 square meters of area, as well as a 600-space subterranean car park.
