project at a glance

The Mackey Arena Complex project is the most comprehensive and significant facility undertaking in the university’s athletics history.  It brings a 40-year-old campus landmark into the 21st century while preserving its rich history and tradition.

The Mackey Arena Complex has significantly enhanced the overall fan experience at Purdue games. The concourse width has nearly doubled, concessions have increased four times and restrooms have increased by thirty percent. Accessible seating has increased approximately six times, which includes lower level premium seating as well as two club spaces.  Additionally, a three-level structure, the Student-Athlete Development Center, has been constructed north of Mackey.
