Centennial Civic Center Park is a central place that reflects the City’s identity and values where Centennial’s residents can gather for special events and enjoy time as families. The park showcases Colorado’s heritage through the use of natural elements and native plants. The goal of this unique facility is to expand opportunities for environmental, historical, cultural, and educational experiences.
Centennial Civic Center Park includes extensive landscaping and trail systems, site walls, a meadow, a water play area, a restroom building, large shelter, coffee shelter, overlook shelter, multiple playgrounds, climbing walls, a plaza with a capacity for 300, and an amphitheatre with a capacity for 1,500.
The park’s theme is “100 Years of History, 10,000 years of Human Habitation” and includes educational elements such as Colorado state trivia, Statehood Plaza, and an archeological dig sand play area.
