The one-story, 14,600 square foot fire station includes living quarters, sleeping quarters, kitchen/dining facilities, a dayroom, a training room, offices, a utility room, a treatment room, a dispatch/report and a communications room. There are two double deep pull-thru bays in the apparatus room, and apparatus bays have support areas for Emergency Medical Services (EMS) storage, maintenance/repair, and gear storage.
The facade is cast stone and masonry veneer with a pitched metal roof. The truck bays are masonry veneer with CMU backup. The foundation is a structural slab and monolithic slab and beam system. Site work included clearing, grading, utilities to building, underground storm drainage, concrete paving, landscaping, and irrigation system.
